If the crowd screen is setup so the singer can't see it, you can also send messages just to the crowd screen. What a great opportunity for the KJ to get the crowd's attention during a bad performance with a slideshow of pictures or ads. If the singer is lousy, the crowd isn't looking at the lyrics anyway. The crowd screen can also show in big letters who's up next and be seen from across the room without the lyrics getting in the way.
